Reducing Postherpetic Neuralgia

Galveston, Texas - A recent analysis of data from an ongoing open-label trial provides strong validation of an earlier finding that adjunctive treatment of acute herpes zoster using the anticonvulsant drug gabapentin (Neurontin) dramatically reduces the incidence of postherpetic neuralgia, Mathijs H.
