Pointers With Portela: Skin Care Trivia

In this week’s Pointers With Portela, the 208SkinDoc asks consumers skin care trivia questions about vitamin C, layers of the skin, keratosis pilaris, and more.

In his most recent YouTube episode, Dustin Portela, DO, a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon at Treasure Valley Dermatology in Boise, Idaho, asks consumers skin care trivia questions for a chance to win new products. Some of the trivia questions include:

  • What vitamin is often associated with promoting healthy skin and is found in citrus fruits?
  • Name the top layer of the skin
  • What skin condition is characterized by small bumps that feel like sand paper?
  • What does SPF stand for?
  • What is the term for darkening of the skin?
