Juvéderm Day Highlights The Line of Products Used For Filling Facial Lines

Allergan Aesthetics recently announced that Juvéderm Day will take place on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, to celebrate aesthetics providers and patients who have been using the products since they were introduced in 2006.¹ The AbbVie company is offering gift cards and incentives to patients for booking consultations and receiving treatment with the Juvéderm product line.

“Juvéderm dermal fillers have been FDA approved since 2006. And as the years have passed, Allergan has launched newer versions and different versions for different uses. The latest products have shown to be effective in correcting loss of facial volume and for filling in deep facial lines and lip volumizing,” said Amy Spizuoco, DO, FAOCD, board-certified dermatologist, dermatopathologist, associate clinical instructor in the department of dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Dermatology Times® Editorial Advisory Board member. She added, “They are currently utilizing vycross technology to allow a combination of majority of low and minority high molecular weight [hyaluronic acid] HA for more efficient cross linking. This makes for more convenience for us clinicians to have a variety of products at our disposal to help treat our patients better.”

The Juvéderm Collection of Fillers includes 6 specially formulated, modified HA fillers that have been evaluated in more than 330 clinical studies. “There are more and more dermal filler products and companies coming to the US market of late. Allergan is the oldest company and may be feeling competition with these new companies,” said Spizuoco.

Patients who are enrolled in Allergan Aesthetics’ Allé customer loyalty program can get an additional $75 gift card when they purchase 1. The company is also offering triple points for patients who are treated with 3 syringes from the Juvéderm line.

“National Juvéderm Day will serve to bring customer awareness to Allergan's brand of dermal fillers,” said Spizuoco. “The issue is the website usually crashes and customers get frustrated.”
