French laser technology firm acquires Germany’s WaveLight Aesthetic

Les Ulis, France - Laser device manufacturer Quantel Medical is expected to acquire WaveLight Aesthetic, a German company that manufactures dermatologic and aesthetic laser devices, PRNewswire reports.

Les Ulis, France - Laser device manufacturer Quantel Medical is expected to acquire WaveLight Aesthetic, a German company that manufactures dermatologic and aesthetic laser devices, PRNewswire reports.

At press time, both parties were preparing to sign a final agreement. Terms and conditions of the financing for the acquisition were not available.

Founded in 1970, the Quantel Group specializes in scientific, industrial and medical laser technologies.
