Ferndale launches aesthetic division
Ferndale, Mich. — Ferndale Laboratories has created a new aesthetic division, Biopelle, dedicated exclusively to aesthetic medicine, according to company president Dr. Michael Burns.

"We are proud to announce the launch of Biopelle," he says. "We firmly believe that we can bring special expertise and value to the rapidly growing area of aesthetic medicine."
The division has its own sales force headed by national sales director Elliott Milstein and its own marketing team led by product manager Richard Lawrence. Currently Biopelle markets two products: L.M.X.4 (lidocaine 4 percent) Topical Anesthetic Cream and OC Eight Matifying Gel. Biopelle plans to introduce two new products in the next six months, according to Mr. Lawrence.
