AACS WICS Event Speaker Talks Keynote Address
Dr. Deborah L. Benzil discusses her keynote address at AACS’s upcoming second annual Women in Cosmetic Surgery event, and uplifting women in medicine.
In a video for Aesthetic Authority, Deborah L. Benzil, MD, FACS, FAANS, vice chair of neurosurgery at Cleveland Clinic Center for Spine Health, discusses her previously authored studies involving gender disparities in medicine and how to create more inclusive environments. As the keynote speaker at the upcoming American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery’s (AACS) second annual Women in Cosmetic Surgery (WICS) event, she will highlight her own personal stories of success and hardship in medicine, how to uplift and support women, and how many of the struggles that women face in the field transcend specialty.
