Topical DNA fragment protects mice from UV-induced skin cancer
Boston - Topical application of the small DNA fragment thymidine dinucleotide (pTT) can activate innate defense mechanisms in skin, which ultimately protect against development of skin cancers, according to a study by reasearchers at the Boston University School of Medicine.
