The American Academy of Dermatology has updated its guidelines for the care and management of primary cutaneous melanoma. The guidelines, which were released this week, cover the treatment of primary cutaneous melanoma for all age groups.

The American Academy of Dermatology has updated its guidelines for the care and management of primary cutaneous melanoma. The guidelines, which were released this week, cover the treatment of primary cutaneous melanoma for all age groups.In addition to cutaneous melanoma, the guidelines include melanoma of the nail unit, but not primary melanoma of the mucous membranes or uveal melanoma. In this slideshow, we feature the recommendations for surgical management of primary cutaneous melanoma.The authors of the report, led by Susan M.
