Lisa Swanson, MD, FAAD: My name is Lisa Swanson. I'm a dermatologist and pediatric dermatologist in Boise, Idaho, land of potatoes. I work in a private practice group called Ada West Dermatology, and I'm on staff at St. Luke's Children's Hospital, as well.

I'm thrilled to be here today to talk to you about what we talked about at AAD with regards to the wonderful world of pediatric dermatology. During my talks at AAD, we covered everything, at least I tried to; I wanted to give attendees a good summary of what's new and what's exciting and what's life-changing for pediatric patients dealing with chronic skin disease. I talked a lot about atopic dermatitis. I talked about pediatric psoriasis, alopecia areata, vitiligo, hemangiomas, one of my favorite topics.

I also just tried to include some high yield tips, just little things here and there from the peds derm world that hopefully would let the attendees benefit and incorporate these little tidbits of knowledge into their daily practice.

I'm really hopeful that all the attendees were able to take home something that helped them in the treatment and diagnosis of children with skin disease.
